ABOUT
At Rooted In Play, we believe stories are meant to be experienced—not just read.
Each month, families read a featured children’s book at home before gathering together for a story-inspired experience that blends literacy, creativity, and community. Through thoughtful discussion, light snacks, and simple invitations to play, children are encouraged to connect with stories in meaningful and memorable ways.
Rather than focusing on quizzes, worksheets, or academic analysis, Beyond the Page invites children to wonder, imagine, create, and explore. Whether we’re building, crafting, investigating, or playing, each gathering is designed to help stories come alive while fostering a lifelong love of reading.
Designed for children and their caregivers, Beyond the Page offers a welcoming space for families to slow down, share great books, and discover what happens when a story continues…beyond the page!
